Cliff Rogers is 47 and was born in Jal, New Mexico. A Lubbock resident since 1991, he recently left his nine to five life and plunged into a precarious adventure in fine arts. Cliff’s major inspirations are Jackson Pollock and Salvador Dali. Painting, jewelry making, ceramics, and crochet are some of his favorite activities. Cliff has four cats.
Gravity, achieved by lifting, tipping and turning the canvas, and the natural flow of acrylic paints create finished works that are as much a surprise to the artist as they are to anyone seeing them for the first time. Cliff uses materials and techniques that make art accessible to anyone.
